ACCREDITATIONS
NCQA
TrueCare will pursue Health Plan and Health Equity Accreditations through National Quality for Quality Assurance (NCQA) to align with industry best practices that promote health for our members. NCQA is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to improving health care quality. NCQA accredits and certifies a wide range of health care organizations. It also recognizes clinicians and practices in key areas of performance. NCQA is committed to providing health care quality information for consumers, purchasers, health care providers and researchers.
NCQA evaluates the quality of health care that health plans provide to their members and how well a health plan manages all parts of its delivery system — physicians, hospitals, other providers and administrative services — in order to continuously improve the quality of care and services provided to its members.
NCQA Health Equity Accreditation promotes the cultural and linguistic needs and preferences of the member populations served. Attaining NCQA Health Equity Accreditation supports the plan’s core health equity work and maintains contracted network practitioners to identify and improve the quality of care and reduce health care disparities among member populations based on stratified racial/ethnic, linguistic, gender identity, and sexual orientation outcomes, analyses and prioritization of opportunities for improvement.
At TrueCare, process improvement is a cornerstone of our mission to positively impact our members’ lives by enhancing their health and well-being. Our quality improvement framework is guided by industry best practices, including the quintuple aim established by the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI), which emphasizes the importance of optimizing the overall healthcare system with focus on improving health outcomes, improving member and provider experience, advancing health equity, and ensuring members get the right care at the right time and in the right setting. In the context of value-based care, the Quintuple Aim becomes even more critical as it aligns with the core principles and goals of value-based care models. As a global leader in health care innovation, IHI focuses on driving better outcomes through evidence-based practices and educational programs.
Additionally, we leverage both Six Sigma and Lean Six Sigma methodologies to equip teams with the tools needed to streamline processes and eliminate barriers, enabling more effective and efficient task completion. Together, these approaches support our commitment to delivering sustainable, high-quality care.
